The Church Street Masquerade 2024
Free Mask Making, Mask Acting & Performance Drop-in Classes
An Intergenerational Project for Ages 18+ and 60+ (all are welcome if 18+). The hit project from 2023 is back, and it's bigger and better!
This August, join Dende Collective at the Penfold Community Hub for a fun and creative mask-making adventure. You'll get to make your own papier-mâché mask, create a costume for your character, and learn how to bring your mask to life. Plus, you'll have the chance to explore masks from different cultures and perform in exciting local shows.
The classes are FREE, including all materials, and no previous experience is needed. Spaces are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Join anytime!
